Staff at Manor School have been delighted to deliver GCSE results to the Year 11 2020 cohort this morning in what has been an extraordinary year. Despite the global pandemic and the difficulties that this has brought, the students at Manor School have worked hard to achieve the results that will enable them to take their next steps.
Through its Work. World. Wellness. curriculum, the school aims to develop well-rounded individuals who will make a positive contribution to society. This core aim has stood its students in good stead to face the exceptional challenges of this year. Throughout these most testing times, Manor students have demonstrated the grit and determination required to be successful.
Jay Davenport, Principal, commented: “It has been wonderful to share the results day experience with so many of our students. These results are testament to their hard work across five years of secondary education. We now look forward to welcoming the vast majority of our students in continuing their studies with us in the Sixth Form.”
Chris Hill, CEO of Nene Education Trust, commented: “We recognise that getting to this point is a team effort and I would like to thank the parents and carers, teachers and associate staff for their continued and unrelenting support and dedication to this cohort of students.”
