January reopening

We have just watched the address from the Secretary of State about the return to schools in January. Unfortunately there is still a lack of clarity and detail around many areas and we want to consider the implications carefully so we can make the best and most informed decisions.

We do know that only vulnerable and key worker students will be physically in school from 4th January and Years 11 and 13 will be ‘live taught’ remotely during this week wherever possible. These exam groups will physically return to school on 11th, with all other students returning on 18th January.

We will write to parents by Friday 1st January outlining the details for all year groups, exams and provide an update on where we are with testing once the revised guidance has been carefully considered and further details provided.

UPDATE - the letter sent out on 31 December can now be accessed here.

If you require vulnerable/key worker places from 4th January (including Year 11) or IT support please complete our January 2021 school return form.

Breakfast Club

We currently run a breakfast club from 8am until 8:30am each morning. This is run by a member of staff, and gives students the opportunity to settle into learning before school and seek any help they may need with homework. There are a limited number of spaces available, and therefore registration of interest is required. Please fill in the short form via the link below and await a confirmation email.

Catering provision for Term 2

After half term, each year group from Year 7 to Year 11 will have the option to purchase hot food and snacks at break and lunch time on one specified day of the week.
