Flu-like & vomiting and diarrhoea symptoms at Manor School

As we would expect this time of year, more people visit their GP with either flu-like and/or vomiting and diarrhoea symptoms. Public Health England (PHE) have been notified that a number of pupils have developed these symptoms at Manor School.

Please download the letter below for symptoms and advice relating to the two conditions.

Sixth Form Open Evening

Manor School extends a warm invitation to Year 11 students from across East Northamptonshire to our Sixth Form Open Evening on Tuesday 14 January 2020.

We offer an extensive curriculum with a wide range of courses to suit the learning needs of students of all abilities. Smaller class sizes enable teachers to get to know each student as an individual, working with them to enhance their strengths and improve their weaknesses.

Christmas Jumper Day taking place this Friday

Christmas Jumper Day is an annual charity event which this year is being held on December 13, with 100% of proceeds going to the charity Save the Children. Events like this link strongly to our school value of Humanity, which we define as ‘an individual’s behaviours that demonstrate compassion’.

We want our staff and students to find their most festive jumpers and wear them to school for the day to raise funds for the charity. This is a cheerful and festive way of raising funds and awareness for Save the Children in time for Christmas.

This year we want as many of our staff and students as possible to get involved. With a minimum contribution of £1 per person, we think we can beat the amount we raised last year with everyone's support.

So dig out your festive jumpers and wear them to school on Friday 13 December!
