Year 6 into 7 Open Evening

We would like to invite Year 6 pupils, parents and carers to our Year 6 into 7 Open Evening on Thursday 3 October.

The evening will give you the opportunity to listen to a talk from the Principal and have a guided tour of the school. You will visit subject areas and talk to the teaching staff about the curriculum, extra-curricular activities and all the opportunities that Manor School has to offer. There will also be the chance to talk to our pastoral team about the school structure and pastoral care within the school. A copy of the school prospectus with further information will be available on the evening.

Records broken at Manor School

The number of students achieving five strong passes in their GCSEs, including English and maths, has significantly increased for the third year in a row. The number of Manor School students achieving the very top grades in English and maths has also reached a new high for the second consecutive year.

Many subjects performed exceptionally well, in particular English literature and English language, all three modern foreign languages, music and further maths.

Sixth Form success

Manor School is exceptionally proud of our Sixth Form students who are making strong progress. The percentage of students achieving three good A Levels is continuing to improve. Students performed well in BTEC subjects, particularly BTEC Music where the majority of students are moving on to University to study music related courses including Oliver Brett who achieved a Distinction.
